Movies being delayed is just a broken record this year. Well, here we go again. Many of these delays are due to the lackluster release of Nolan’s Tenet. The industry is still trying to find the day where moviegoers will feel safe in a theater.
Black Widow is being delayed from November 6th to May 7th 2021. This will shift all following MCU films on the docket like Doctor Strange 2 Shang Chi, and Thor 4. Eternals will move to November 5th and Shang Chi to July 9th.
Disney is also pushing back Spielberg’s “West Side Story” and “Death on the Nile” are also being pushed back by several months. “West Side Story” is a remake of the classic musical. “Death on the Nile” is a sequel to “Murder on the Orient Express.” “Deep Water”, Ben Affleck’s new thriller, is being moved from November 13th to August 13th, 2021.
There are still unmoved films on the slate like “Free Guy” and “Soul”. We will keep you updated on their status as we get close.
